Asian Coleslaw

Sometimes it just has to be easy. This is that easy. No mess. Light chopping. We eat this with pan fried Asian sesame noodles and grilled chicken. The “go to” dinner all year around.

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES

Ingredients:

  • One bag ANGEL HAIR CABBAGE

  • Chopped orange pepper (or any color you have)

  • 1/2 cup Cran-raisins

  • Chopped green onion (or any onion you have)

  • Chopped cilantro (a must)

  • Diced cucumber

  • Toasted almonds (sunflower seeds work well also)

  • Far East Flair salad dressing to taste

Instructions:

  1. Chop the ingredients.

  2. Toast nuts under the broiler being careful to brown but not burn.

  3. Dump cabbage in a decorative serving bowl.

  4. Add the chopped veggies.

  5. Add around 2/3 cup Far East Flair. Mix slaw and add more dressing to taste, if needed. Don’t over dress. The dressing melds as it sits in the fridge. You can always add more when serving.
